TEASE to TEAL Transition
EMAT Access
EMAT allows for two kinds of users: ordering and view-only.
Each district may assign up to two staff members as ordering users to manage the ordering of instructional materials through EMAT. Users with this access submit requisitions and disbursement requests through EMAT.
Each district may also assign up to two staff members as view-only users. View-only users can view orders and reports in EMAT. The superintendent may consider assigning this role to such staff members as the curriculum director or the business manager.
On January 13, 2019, EMAT will move from the TEASE environment to the TEAL environment. Detailed instructions for a smooth transition have been sent to EMAT users from the TEA Help Desk.
EMAT users who don’t already have a TEAL account need to register for one. Each user should link his/her TEASE account to the TEAL account and use the TEAL account going forward to access TEA applications.
EMAT users are advised never to share login information with others. Users who log in using a colleague’s user ID and password may not get the needed detailed instructions. Each user should request his or her own TEASE account to get information about the transition.
